Parents and Players:
Reflecting upon our game yesterday, I wanted to let you know how impressed I was by your performance.
The final outcome was not as we would have liked of course. We were well matched teams and they got the better of us in this game.
I saw our true potential in this game, which we have not yet achieved, and a clear objective to where we should be striving to get to moving forward.
We needed this! I see this as nothing But an opportunity to prove who we really are.
I am fired up for you guys and excxited for the next few weeks!
I will be at Sloughouse Field tonight from 6:00-8:00pm. This is stick, helmet, gloves only practice. this is a great opportunity to work on individual skills that we don't always get the chance to do in full team practices. (Not mandatory to attend, but if you're free I highly recommend attending).
Here are a couple quotes for you to reflect on and to remind you that it's not the loss that is important in this game or in any other aspect of life. What you do after, however, defines who you truly are!!!
"You have no choices about how you lose, but you do have a choice about how you come back and prepare to win again." - Pat Riley
